Conclusion

I admit that I have not been to as many lounges as some frequent travelers, but this is one of the top three airport lounges I have ever been in.

**Three hour maximum stay

    1. Entrance is free with Priority Pass. I got complimentary Priority Pass membership with my Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card. Complimentary membership in Priority Pass also comes with a number of other premium credit cards. Otherwise, the cost is $25 for a day pass.

  1. Hi there,

I am wondering if you can give some insight. I will be travelling from Mexico City to Manta and we need to stop in Quito. We will have about 5 hours to kill so thought it will be nice to take a shower and have something to eat. Since we’re going to arrive internationally then will fly domestic, I am wondering how to access the international VIP lounge to take advantage of the shower. I assume when we land we will arrive at one of the gates, which then we can go and stay for this lounge before exiting security. Are departure and arrival international halls connected? Or need to re enter security?

I have emailed the airport but hasn’t received any response.

    Any insight will be helpful.

    Thank you!

    1. I only flew directly into and out of Quito via the International terminal so I cannot speak to the Domestic gates. However if I remember correctly, there were separate security checkpoints for International and Domestic gates when departing Quito.
Since you fly into the international gates I would suggest you go directly to the SALA VIP Internacional. I think they changed the name; on the Priority Pass website, there is only a SALA VIP Internacional, but when I looked at the pictures it looks like the same place as the lounge reviewed here. This was a very nice lounge! Good food choices. And there were showers (towels were provided). After getting some food and a shower, I would then go the domestic gates.
